Kodiak He's doing fantastic! Made himself right at home with my other two cats, too. They're all regularly grooming one another and bonding, etc. Just took this one the other day, with Hailey who is my most skittish one in the gang.
Kikiko I was a little worried at how she would act when she got to a new home but after a quick scan of my apartment, she settled herself right in. She's lit up my life with her sweet temperament and hilarious personality. She loves to jump up and meet people's hands as they bend down to pet her, she lays at the end of my bed and when my alarm goes off she runs up to me to lick my face (she loves licking people's faces strangely enough) and she runs to the door to greet me everyday when I come home. She really is a perfect cat. I'm still trying to convince her wet food is good but even when I mix it with the dry she's not having it. I'll keep trying though. She also loves to be brushed, play with toys and dash around my apartment at top speed from chairs to tables to chairs to her cat food bowl in the kitchen, leaving me laughing too hard to scold her for being on the table. I'm very happy I went to KSC and found Nora, not only because she's a great cat but also because I'm happy to have saved a life. I hope all the cats are able to find happy homes and wish I could have saved more. Thank you for all the work you do and for introducing me to Nora. I'll be sure to send more pictures and updates as she grows older.
Kaylee (bonded with Inara) They are doing well, and are such cuties! The picture doesnât do them justice, but they are settling in very nicely!
Kenzie It has been about two years since I adopted my sweet baby from KSC. She was Kenzie when I met her but is now Wednesday (Nessy for short). I just wanted to let you know I love her more than anything in the whole world and give an update. I had a sweet orange and white boy named Bun when I adopted Nessy. I was originally apprehensive because he came from an abusive cat hoarding home when I adopted him several years ago. He was never aggressive but very skittish and shy. Him and Nessy immediately hit it off! They were best friends at first sight. Not even just that, but she has really brought him about of his shell. He is so much more friendly and seeks affection from us whereas before he was more partial to being around us from the safety of his cat tree and only snuggling us while we were asleep. He is a whole new cat thanks to his sister. Wednesday is obsessed with snackies (especially Meat Mates Lamb Dinner puffs and Made By Nacho treats). She is so energetic and spunky. Her favorite activity is hunting toy mice and she regularly tries to snatch our dinners from us (she took an entire baked chicken breast the other day). We are sure she is half opossum. She loves boxes and plays fetch with a stuffed mouse. She really helped when I was working from home for so long. We originally lived in an apartment, but now she has a whole 3-story house to conduct her antics.
King I've decided to tweak his name just slightly and call him Kingsley. He's already answering to it! He is such a sweet and affectionate guy... So far I have done scent exchanges between him and my other cat, via my hands and on bedding, and I have let them view each other from about 20 feet apart. I think he is a great addition to the household! Thank you for suggesting him. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
