SOFT, FRIENDLY KITTEN GIRL'S WONDERFUL DISPOSITION HAS EARNED HER THE NICKNAME "LOVABLE LAUREL" Hello friends! My name is Laurel, and I'm one of the six "Chesapeake kittens" born to a momma cat who was still a kitten herself. I'm a beautiful black and white baby girl approaching my six (6) month birthday.
My five "Chesapeake" siblings and I have been raised in a loving foster home and we're all going to make wonderful, loving family companions for our lucky humans. I'm going to tell you about myself here in hopes that you'll fall in love and come to meet me, but I'd also be so happy if you would look at the biographies of my siblings while you're here. You can find them with the designation "Chesapeake litter" next to their names. They are Easton, Galena, Ridgely, Somerset and Delmar.
My foster mom cals me Lovable Laurel! I am ready to settle down with a loving family open to afternoons spent with a gorgeous little kitten stretched out beside you. One look at my big brown expressive eyes and you can see all the love that I have to give. Still very much a kitten, I enjoy chasing after feather toys and catnip bananas, but I'm equally happy to pass the day curled up with you on the couch. I am known for my wonderful disposition. I would very well in a home with children or other pets.
As I said, I'm approaching my six (6) month birthday. I am a very soft and silky girl with jet black fur and snowy white accessories - I have one snowy white cheek, a white chin, a snowy white tuxedo, matching white mittens - and best of all a warm and lovable snowy white belly for you to gently rub. I have almond-shaped eyes in a deep golden brown color and a little black nose to match my dominant fur color. I really can't get any cuter - you'll see!
If you don't have other furry friends for me, you might consider bringing me home with one of my siblings or with another companionable kitten from KSC. My volunteer friends would be happy to make recommendations. There are benefits to adopting two kittens or cats together. We serve important roles in each other's lives. We provide each other with natural play, plenty of exercise, grooming services, comfort, warmth, companionship - and, although you might not have thought of it, we moderate each other's behavior. If I become too frisky and keep nipping my feline friend, he or she will teach me a lesson by swatting me with a paw. If my pal misbehaves, I'll return the favor. This is how cats naturally learn the boundaries of acceptable behavior.
Please come to meet me! I'm beautiful, friendly, playful, affectionate and ready for my own forever home. It's easy to get started: please send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Laurel.
