Hello friends! My name is Skylar, and I am very happy to have been chosen to come to King Street Cats when my time had run out at a shelter. This means that King Street Cats saw something special in me and knows that I'm going to make my lucky purrson(s) very happy when I get to my forever home! I had a rough start in life and I am very grateful to my wonderful KSC foster mom for showing me how good life can be - and I look forward to much more of that.

We think I'm three (3) years old - even though I am very petite - and that's a wonderful age at which to be adopted. I'm over the "kitten chaos" phase yet I'm still a young kid! At night my foster mom would hear me running around chasing tiny balls and other sneaky little toys who thought they could get away from me. I do love to play with toys. I'd be OK as your special "one and only" best friend as long as I had lots of toys. I'd probably also do fine with one or two very low-key and very accepting cats. 

I've got silky, fluffy silver fur which is well on its way to becoming long in length as I continue to blossom. This gives me a very luxurious, elegant look. I'll even throw in some bright green eyes and a perfect little salmon-pink nose to sniff you with! I seem to have something of a dilute tortoiseshell pattern which gives me hues of silver and beige in my fur. I am very beautiful, I promise you.

I am shy at first. My life wasn't easy before I joined the King Street Cats family and I didn't know whom to trust. I had to be extremely cautious in order to survive. My foster mom taught me a lot about trust I am would love to find my very own forever purrson who will patiently continue my lessons. I don't like to be picked up quickly, but I have discovered that snuggling in the arms of a kind purrson is a very wonderful thing. I guarantee you that if you're that purrson, you will alos find it wonderful because I am one soft silky ball of warmth and I will purrrr to let you know how good this is! I like to be close by my purrson, I loved the give "head butts" (a behavior known as "bunting," wherein I find you to be trustworthy and fabulous and I mark you as my own), and I really enjoyed quiet time spent sitting next to my foster mom, or even sitting on her lap!
