LOVELY, SWEET AND MELLOW YOUNG FIV+ BOY OFFERS GENTLE COMPANIONSHIP IN EXCHANGE FOR THE GOOD LIFE HE SO DESERVES

Hello friends! My name is Grey and I am a two (2) year old soft and plush teddy bear of a little boy. I was alone outdoors trying to fend for myself in this big world when a king King Street Cats volunteer began to leave food for me. I really liked this so I decided to eat at her restaurant on a regular basis! We got to know each other a bit and she realized that what I am is a wonderful young boy who deserves a wonderful life in a forever home. She even took me to the veterinarian in order to get me ready to come to King Street Cats and wait for my own special purrson(s).

The vet found that I am FIV+, which isn't terribly surprising for a little boy who was alone outdoors and vulnerable to bites from other feral cats. But wait! Don't go away! This is not the end of my world - in fact, I'm here now because my world is just beginning. I want to go home and do all the other things that kitties do, like soak up the sun, chase toys, meow for my dinner and give you all the love, loyalty and happy companionship that I possibly can.

I will have to be an only cat, or live with a cat who is also FIV+, or live with nice dogs. Dogs do NOT catch FIV. Humans do NOT catch FIV. I'll depend on you to observe my health carefully, feed me the most nutritious food, establish a trusting relationship with a vet who is knowledgeable about FIV, and keep me indoors so that I do not come into contact with other cats. My King Street Cats friends will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about FIV. There is no reason why I cannot live a normal life span. Many FIV+ cats do.

My new friends here know that I am very gentle and docile sweetheart who will blossom with the loving attention of a similarly gentle human who understands that right now I am very shy given all the changes in my life. It's in my nature to be gentle and trusting, but I will also need your help in learning that I no longer have to fear for my survival.

I am an adorable boy with silver fur and snowy white mittens along with a white chin and belly. I have a sweet face that's got a perfectly symmetrical white triangle to highlight big bright green eyes and a pastel pink nose. I am as soft and plush as a teddy bear. Can you tell that the paparazzi interrupted my nap to take my photograph? If you look closely you can see that I'm showing my opinion of this by sticking out my tiny pink tongue. I do have a sense of humor!

Are you, or is someone you know, seeking the sole companionship of a gentle best friend? Perhaps as a quiet friend for another non-aggressive FIV+ kitty or dog? Let's meet. I'll be very grateful to have my very own place in the sun. You can start by sending an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and asking for me, Grey.

Gratefully yours,
Grey
