BEAUTIFUL SENIOR LADY SEEKS WARM LAP IN RETURN FOR ALL THE LOVE IN HER HUGE HEART! Hi! My name is Salem. I’m a 16 year old long haired beauty. I’m really mellow and love to follow my foster mom around, or just sit and watch her working at home. I’ve been here for 2 years, though, and there are lots of cats here. I’d really like a home with only one or two other cats and my own person to hang out with! I was diagnosed as pre-kidney failure when I first arrived, but it hasn’t progressed at all. Unfortunately, my blood pressure has gone up so I’m on once a day pills to regulate that. But my own home would really help me more than any pills. I would love to sit near you while you work, and when I think you need a break I’ll walk across whatever you’re working on. I also love to drink water out of the sink and to sit in front of an open window and feel the breeze in my fur. I have a big heart and would love a lap to call my own for the next few years. Please note that I was declawed before I arrived at King Street Cats, so you must never expose me to a situation (or another animal) where I might need to defend myself.
