Hello Friends,
My name is Nina Marie. My family moved away and couldn't keep me. I'm making new friends here at King Street Cats while I wait for my forever home. Did I tell you that I was raised with two Rottweilers? Yes! If you have a nice dog or two at home, that's more than OK with me. And guess what? I do well with older children who are mature enough to read feline body language. I really prefer to be your only cat, however. We can be each others' best friends and secret-keepers - I won't tell the dogs a thing!

I am a people-loving girl. I will come to greet you when you enter the room. I will follow you around to see what you're up to and to make sure you're OK. I would be very happy if you'd give me a head rub and a few compliments, and I'll purr and come back for more to make sure you understand how much I enjoy what you're doing for me. If you're preparing something to eat, I might want to help you with that! If you think you might need to run some cool water from your faucet, please know that I am your personal plumber and will check that flow for you... with my pretty little pink tongue. I'm the girl who would always be asking the teacher for a hall pass so I could go to the water fountain - I love to watch flowing water. I also need to take a little sip - to check your water quality... I'm sure you'd be wondering if it really was wet and I'd like to be the one to assure you!

I was born in November 2011, so I am almost three and a half (3.5) years old now as of April 2015. This is an ideal age to adopt a cat - I'm mature enough to behave nicely yet still a young girl. I've got short, soft, silky silver fur with a white snowflake on my forehead and another above my lip. I have a snowy white "tuxedo" on my neck and chest, and a perfect little silver nose. I'm waiting to see you with these bright green eyes of mine.
