My name is Lady Red and I'm a rare red tabby girl!!!! I arrived here on 9-4-12 after first being lost as a stray in DC. I hung out in an alley, hid under cars and other cats beat me up. It was a terrible life for me. Then a wonderful lady found me, took me in, fed me and loved me, and then brought me here. I was taken to a vet who confirmed that I was already spayed and actually had a microchip that was registered to a shelter in Virginia Beach. How I got up to DC is a mystery (I kinda like being a mysterious girl)! I am a huge love, I love people, I'm so curious about everything (and I will sniff every square inch of your home). Life on the streets was not for me; life cuddling with you is for me. I would do best in a home with no young children or other pets. Please come and see me!
