I’m Bernie, and I’m an absolute cuddlebug! I came to KSC as one of the “Rocket Man” kittens – my littermates are Elton, Bennie and Kiki. I would like to be adopted with one of them, because we’re all really close.
Want to know a secret? You’d never guess from looking at me, but I broke my right femur in September 2019. My foster parents noticed that I suddenly developed a limp, so I went to see the vet and we found out that I had cleanly snapped the head of my femur. I saw two vets and they both said that the bones would not heal back together, and that if I wasn’t very bothered by it I should just be allowed to go about my business. So I did, and you can’t even see my limp anymore! I’m just an extra-special cuddly cat with an extra bone in my hip! I don’t guard my “bad” hip or show any preference for which side I lie on.
I enjoy running and playing with my brothers and sister, and I also like to eat. A lot. I was the largest kitten in my litter and I mean to stay that way. I love lying on my humans’ lap while they are watching tv and purring loudly, that’s the best. I can’t wait to join my forever family!
