Domestic Short Hair : : Male
Hello, do you have a moment? I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Langston and I came to King Street Cats from a big city shelter when I was quite young. I was found alone trying to get around but wasn’t doing so well. You see I was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, CH for short, sometimes called Wobbly Cat Syndrome. This means part of my brain didn’t develop quite right because my mom was very sick before I was born.
CH isn’t painful and it isn’t progressive, it just means I have some challenges getting around…but I don’t have any trouble letting people know now much I love being with them and how happy I am to see them. I am what they call moderate CH. I wobble when I walk and sometimes tip over but it really doesn’t slow me down much. And I can run to say hi to anyone who enters my world.
I love to play with toys but my most favorite thing is being held and I will snuggle and purr to show you how much I love you.
I can’t be in a home with stairs. I really need to be an only cat as I get intimidated by other cats. I think I would like children. I shouldn’t be with dogs as I am told that dogs are sometimes bothered by the different way I move. Oh and carpet, rugs, mats, make it easier for me to get around, especially when I lose my balance.
Well, I guess that is about it. I am so very much looking forward to finding my forever home…could that be with you?
Hope to see you soon!
Langston
