CURRENTLY IN FOSTER

HI there!  My name is Jasmin and I had some rough times before being rescued and ultimately ending up here at King Street Cats. When I was found in WV by a local rescue group I was doing my best as a young momma to feed and protect my 4 one-month old kittens. My right rear leg had been sheared off and was healing on its own, but I was so grateful to be taken to the local vet who amputated it near the hip and closed it up properly. Of course I know what happened, but I prefer to keep everyone guessing. The two theories that keep coming up are that I either was caught in a trap or in a car engine when it started. Regardless, the important thing is that my kittens and I are safe and healthy!  

Now that I know that my kittens will be well taken care of and will be placed for adoption when they’re old enough, I’m ready to find my own furrever home. I’m still very young so I love to chase toys, inspect everything that comes into my foster mom’s home, and snuggle next to my foster mom for lots and lots of attention. I guarantee you’ll forget that I have only 3 legs because I can jump and run and do everything a 4 legged cat does! I get along with other cats (there are several other adult cats here) and I’m okay with dogs (there was a dog at the WV vet’s office who helped me keep the kittens in line).  I’ve heard of “children”, and although I haven’t been around any yet I’m sure I’d love them if they’re willing to play with me. I think it would be really cool if I could be adopted with one of my kittens, but I also know that they have to grow up and lead lives of their own.
