PLAYFUL, SPUNKY, AFFECTIONATE YOUNG GIRL IS READY FOR FUN

Hello friends, my name is Shera. I'm an adorable young girl who's just celebrated my first (1st) birthday. I'm looking for a home without young children where I can run, play and have the time of my life with you - or with you and another young and active feline friend.

I was found as a stray in Baltimore. I wasn't meant for the outdoor life of a stray - I love my humans! When I was at the shelter in Baltimore, I would immediately come to the front of my crate each time a friend passed by. I would roll over and show my warm, silky, snowy white tummy for rubs. I would soak up some tummy love and then flop over on my other side for even more. I want to soak up as much affection as I possibly can. I'll purrrr and purrrr with happiness to let you know how much it means to me.

The shelter staff could see that I was becoming anxious confined to a crate. The call went out to King Street Cats because they have the best fans and one of them is sure to be reading about me and know where I can find my forever family.

I have so much fun being an active little clown that I can get overstimulated. That's why I'm seeking a home without small children. I need a purrson (or people) who can read my body language, rein in the impulses to egg me on (even when I'm having the time of my life) and understand that if I begin nipping what I really need is quiet time to settle down and regain my regal kitty composure. I don't lose control, but I may interpret the impulsive, sudden movements of young children as an irresistible play challenge. At this active and spunky stage of my life, I'm better suited to mature children and adults.

I'm looking for a forever home where I can have a lot of attention and where I'll have a ready playmate. Please ask my King Street Cats friends about adopting me with a feline playmate to whom I'm well matched. Having same species companionship greatly enhances the well being of active young cats like me. You'll have much less to worry about knowing that we furry ones can take care of each other when you can't be with us.

Being as affectionate as I am, you can rest assured that I'll always come running when you walk into the room.

If you would like to open your heart and home to a playful, spunky and affectionate young girl whose nickname in Baltimore was "Cutie Patootie" (because I am very, very cute!) then please come to meet me. It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Trixie.

Thank you!

Happily yours,
Trixie
