Complete An Adoption Application

CURRENTLY IN FOSTER 

My name is Oats and  I’m a sleek and confident  black & white  tuxedo guy, ready to find my forever home.  For the past several months,  I’ve been in my foster parents house, along with my adopted mates, Honey, Graham, and Cinnamon.  When I first came to KSC, I was with my baby brother, but he passed away and I was so sad!  Right away though, Honey and Graham came along to cheer me up.  Then not long after that, our baby brother Cinnamon joined us, and  we made a big happy family.  

We all love each other and get along great, but each one of us has a really unique and distinct  purrsonality .  Take me: I’m definitely  the “chill” cool-cat of the bunch.  Maybe  it’s  because I’ve been through so much, but I’m really adaptable and independent, and just fine wherever I find myself.   I’m  good with kids,  haven’t  spent a lot of time with them yet, but I’m very gentle with play  (no scratching!) , and I’m very patient about being cuddled and held.  Likewise, I  haven’t  met a dog yet, but I’m so relaxed and open-minded I think we’d become great friends right away.

Right  now  though my  human parents are my real passion.  I just love sitting in laps, getting hugs, giving kisses, and of course  being petted.   My favorite place to be is probably going to be your bed.  Whenever I get the chance I run straight for my foster mom’s bed, snuggle in those soft blankets and just roll around on my back getting as much attention as I can.   I also love to get belly rubs from my foster dad and to sit up against my mom’s leg while she works on her computer.

Here are some cute little things about me: First, I’m  a   big  chatter box.  I want to tell you about my whole day; I  chirp and purr  and trill   and have a whole vocabulary  of sounds to let you know what’s going on .   I have  lots of  questions and  love to investigate everything, but also love to just chill and relax.  In fact, of all my siblings,  I’m  the best one at staying in one place, content to lounge and soak up your attention while the others run and play.  Another funny thing: I carry my favorite stuff around in my mouth.  You know, like a  dog?   My foster mom thinks it's hilarious .  Like if I have a favorite toy, I just pick it up and take it right with me, up the stairs or into another room .
