PLAYFUL, CURIOUS YOUNG BOY ASKS FOR HEAD RUBS
Hello friends! My name is Ace. Earlier this year my people felt I was acting "strangely" so they dropped me off at a shelter. Turns out I had a UTI (urinary tract infection) that explained my behavior - I returned to my normal, sweet, playful self as soon as I received the treatment I needed! I'm eating a prescription diet right now, but that's readily availble and won't be a problem.
The shelter knew how well I'd do once I was in my own forever home and put out the call to King Street Cats. Sure enough, KSC welcomed me into the family and here I am, ready to meet you!
I'm a tiny bit shy here because I've never been around so many active kitties but I am friendly and happy to meet new human friends. I made it clear to the shelter staff as soon as my UTI was under control that I am a happy, curious boy who likes to explore my surroundings and find opportunities to play!
I loooove to play! I would absolutely love to go home with another energetic, young feline friend from KSC. My volunteer friends here can introduce you to some of my wonderful playmates. One of my favorite friends is an adorable young orange boy named Harvey. He's about to celebrate his first birthday at Thanksgiving and it's also his dream to go home with a special playmate - like me!
I've spent more than enough time in crates by now. I'm eager to run and chase and jump and play. Same-species companionship will greatly enhance my well-being and provide you with peace of mind during the times when you can't be with me or can't entertain me.
A compatible feline friend will serve as my workout partner, playmate, behavioral coach (if I nip him, he'll nip me back and I'll learn my lesson!), groomer, fellow explorer and nap buddy.
Here at KSC I like to find a nice human friend and rub up against his or her legs and then hope to find the palm of a hand at a level where I can "bump" my head up into that palm and demand a head rub. I will "bunt" my new friend repeatedly (bump into you!) which is cat-speak for "I claim you as mine because I find you to my liking!" A very special volunteer has been spending extra time with me and reassuring me that I'll have my own home and much more space in which to run and play very soon!
I am just two (2) years old and that's a wonderful adoption age. I would love to find a home with a cat lover who seeks a loyal companion with an interest in your everyday activities. I'd like to be where you are and watch what you're doing. I'll remind you when I need to affection and I'll purr happily when you give it to me.
I am strikingly handsome with my pale cream/buff coat of short, plush fur with light, faint swirls running through it. I have bright golden eyes that don't miss a thing!
Please come to meet me. I'll make an excellent friend, I promise. For more information or to arrange a visit with me, please email contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Ace. Please don't forget how much I'd benefit from having a kitty companion, and how easy it would be to ask my human friends to introduce you to my friends here. Please ask my friend Harvey if you don't mind! We'd make a great pair. Thank you.
Playfully yours,
Ace
