OUR VERY SPECIAL BLIND BOY HAS THE GENTLEST SOUL - HELP US FIND HIS FOREVER HOME

Hello friends! My name is Cupid. I come to you as an extra special mature gentleman in search of an extraordinary purrson to give me the forever home I deserve.

I am the gentlest of souls with a peaceful, loving personality. I'm a grateful and well mannered cat who appreciates the quiet companionship friends provide for each other.

I am 13 years old and I am blind.

Don't go away!

What would my chances have been in a shelter? King Street Cats welcomed me. My volunteer friends warmly describe me as as one of the kindest kitties around. They know what a treasure I am and how much I'll relax and enjoy myself in a forever home with a King Street Cats fan.

I'll need a calm setting and a purrson (or people) who can understand and anticipate my needs with respect to mobility: if you'll slowly introduce me to my new kingdom and take care not to move things around such that I won't bump into new objects that pop up unexpectedly I will flourish.

I appreciate soft spoken encouragement and praise. I am grateful when you approach me speaking or humming happily so that I know you're coming. My nose gives me a lot of information too. I'd do well in a home without rambunctious children or other animals who might threaten me. In fact, I think I'd love to be your "one and only" best feline friend.

I love to be near my people, explore new smells (maybe you could tell me what you're up to and let me sniff the things that interest you) and receive head rubs and chin scratches. I also love to be brushed!

You won't find a kinder heart than mine. My friends here at KSC can answer your questions about how to best integrate me into your household. I take one pill a day - it's very important for my blood pressure - and I take it like a champion. You and I will have no problem with this routine, but you have to promise me you will maintain it.

It’s often the case we kitties who require a bit of extra effort - and who don't immediately conform to typical image of an adoptable cat - who bring the most love and enrichment into our forever homes.

Please don't forget about me. Come to meet me. Send an inquiry and ask KSC more about me - you can do that even now by sending an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and asking for me, Cupid.

I'll make it worth your time. I've got a lot of love to give. Thank you.

Gently yours,

Cupid
