FUTURE BEST FRIEND IN TRAINING!
Hello friends! My name is Cha Cha. I'm a plush, lovely young girl whose story begins in a trailer park in Alexandria.
I'm not sure how I came to be all alone trying to get by on my own in the great big outdoors, but there I was. A kind person would leave me tasty treats and this is how I survived. I made the momentous decision to trust a human friend and allow myself to be introduced to the King Street Cats family.
Now that I'm a lifelong member, I'm here enjoying safety and comfort while I train to be your new best friend.
I'm still shy and I frighten somewhat easily. I'm such a gentle and lovely girl and I know I wasn't made for the outdoor life. I'm learning to trust my volunteer friends and interact comfortably with them. I make progress each day and I am proud of myself!
I really enjoy my feline friends here at KSC. I might do well if you'd consider adopting me together with one of the furry friends who gives me confidence and models for me how to happily interact with humans.
I dream that a kind, soft-spoken and patience purrson will fall in love with me and take me to a forever home that is quiet, calm, peaceful and welcoming. I know I'm not a scaredy cat, but my reflexes were attuned to survival in the unpredictable outdoors.
I'm learning all about how wonderful it feels to let my guard down. If you have the space in your heart and home to help me continue to blossom by letting me explore slowly, providing me with a safe spot to which I can retreat, and praising me with a gentle voice then I will return the favor many times over - my goal is to become a cherished family member and best furry friend to my own purrson.
I've got an adorable round face with a tiny white "milk mustache" around my nose. I'm a classy dresser with short, soft and plush fur in jet black and snowy white. I'm even wearing a snowy white tuxedo. My almond-shaped eyes will change from the pretty spring green to gold depending on the lighting conditions. My volunteer friends say I've got "the right look." I think they mean that I'm very cute!
I'm only about three years old (as of 2019), which is a very nice adoption age. I'm no longer a mischievous kitten but I'm very young and looking forward to providing you with years of companionship.
If you are - or know someone who is - a patient purson with a nurturing instinct, please come to meet me. I know I'll make leaps and bounds of progress in coming out of my shell when I can continue my training in the peaceful setting of my own forever home.
And please consider adopting me with a fellow feline from KSC - if you haven't shared your life with two cats simultaneously, you would *honestly* be in for a special kind of happiness.
It's easy to get started: send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for me, Cha Cha.
