SUPER SWEET CUTIE IS MELLOW AND HAPPY

​Hello friends! My name is Sammy. I am one of the sweetest and cutest little boys you could hope to meet. I came to King Street Cats from a hoarding situation with my friend Buster. What a relief to be here! We're safe and loved and have all the care we could ask for. The only thing we need.... are forever homes to call our own.

Buster and I formed a great friendship and while we don't absolutely need to be adopted together, that might be very nice. We'd make a wonderful pair because we're both happy social boys who enjoy kitty company but we're also both FIV+. 

This means that we received deep-puncture bite wounds, probably while we were surrounded by so, so many cats prior to joining the KSC family. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It can only be spread from cat to cat - and it spreads by deep-puncture bite wound. Humans cannot get it, dogs cannot get it. It means that at some point we may - or we may not - become more susceptible to the common ailments that we all get to deal with. 

This is all the "extra" we ask of you in order to keep us healthy: feed us healthy, high protein/grain free diets, preferably wet food. Keep us indoors. Establish a relationship with a trusted veterinarian and bring us in whenever you notice that we're not feeling like ourselves - not because it means that we're about to become ill, but because we want to treat all conditions before they have a chance to progress beyond the point where they would in a cat without FIV. FIV cats can have normal lifespans with attentive, high quality care.

​Now that we've got that out of the way... onto the best part: me! I am extremely cute with my perfectly proportioned little face and my serious expression! I'm a short haired, soft, silky little boy in snowy white with a jet black cap and mask and a tiny soft nose to nudge you with when I want some love.

I'm friendly, gentle, loving and very mellow. My KSC friends love me and know that you will too. I adore my humans and I purrrrr happily when I get gentle pats on the head and someone softly tells me how wonderful and purrfect I am. What could be better?
