George, nicknamed “ Midnight ,” is a gentle giant.  Along with his (almost) identical brother Fred and his littermates Finch and Winona, George has lived with a foster family since being weaned from Mom at about 6 weeks old.  As well as his 3 siblings, he’s been living with 4 adult kitties and a dog, so should be fine with other cats, dogs, and kids.  He’s handled constantly by an 8 year old, and, though he prefers not to be held for too long, always is gentle about asking to be put down.

The first thing you’ll notice about George (besides his relatively large size compared with his littermates) is his purr! It’s so loud you can hear it from across the room, and he purrs whenever he’s touched, and sometimes even when he thinks he’s going to be touched! He loves a good snuggle and enjoys racing around with his brothers chasing after catnip mice and spring cat toys (which are his particular favorite!) He is a sweet boy that would make an excellent addition to any home.  You can see lots of photos of him with his siblings on their foster mom's Instagram page at: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/aeliakittencamp/

George would love to go home with his sister, Winona, or to a home with friendly animals for him to play with.  Please reach to contact@kingstreetcats.org if you are interested in meeting George.

ATTENDANCE: These sweeties will be at Pet Valu Bradlee ( 3652 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302) from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2017 for potential adopters to see them in person.
