Hello friends! My name is Greige. I'm a handsome little boy kitten here with my gorgeous sister Greya. We're coming to you from the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Croix as the latest in a long line of island kitties who find their forever homes through King Street Cats because of the wonderful traits we all seem to share time and time again. We are bonded best friends and we need to be adopted together into a home that's ready for a double dose of happiness.
When you adopt an island kitty (or better yet, a bonded pair!) from King Street Cats you know that you're taking home a lean, sleek, silky, affectionate, personable, playful friend. You will start smiling a lot more - we guarantee it. Those are the traits we St. Croix cats exhibit consistently. It's why we get adopted quickly. It's why we want to meet you as soon as we possibly can!
We were born in March 2016. We are still growing and maturing under the loving care of our wonderful foster family but we've progressed to the point where it's time for us to find our forever home with a lucky purrson or family. Our foster parents describe us as "incredibly easy to love," and our King Street Cats friends agree.
We both are incredibly easy to love because we both have playful and kind personalities. We are quick to greet our foster family and guests with happy purrs. We try to rub up next to all of our humans to claim them as ours and mark them as "special" to us. We have been learning quickly from our foster family, becoming much gentler with humans. We both are generally easy to train and teach.
We both are incredibly agile, playful, and affectionate. We can jump several feet into the air already when playing with our foster family! We do get a bit nervous when traveling, but the second we are home we settle down and are ready to be playful and cuddly once again.
We also love each other dearly. We are constantly running after one another playing games, but when we get tired, cannot help but snuggle up next to each other. There are benefits to both cats and humans when two kittens are adopted together: we provide each other with comfort, entertainment, behavior modification, learning opportunities, grooming services and exercise. You know we'll be there for each other when you can't be with us because you're off doing the things that humans do.
We're also very lovely to look at! My sister Greya has incredibly soft silvery fur with darker stripes and swirls throughout, whereas I am a beautiful light brown with darker spots.
We are still very much kittens, so we are looking for a forever family that loves playing with their furry friends and has the energy to keep up with us!
If you are ready to have your heart melt for two adorable kittens, please come meet us! It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Greige, or my sister Greya. We can't wait to meet you.
Playfully yours,
Greige (with Greya)
