Tweedle Dee When I first met Pamina (fka Tweedle Dee), she was sweet, but obviously very nervous and shy. I had an instant connection with her, and knew quickly she was the kitty for me. Even when I adopted her, one of the volunteers, although happy she was going home, cautiously let me know that she'd never chosen to leave her cage during her entire time there, and although she hoped she would relax in a new, stable environment, it wasn't for sure. I knew patience would be a big part of helping her feel comfy in her new home, but even I worried a little when, after a whole month, she still would hardly come out from under the couch at all. It has taken time, and she still has a cautious temperament, but these days, she loves basking in the sunshine, playing with her toys, getting pets, and generally following me around the house. I'm so thankful to KSC, because I think a kitty with her personality might not have had the chance at adoption at more traditional shelters.
Tippy Its Sunday night and safe & happy in his forever home is Tippy. He was a shy guy in our free-roaming room but has certainly come out of his shell at home with volunteer Virginia B. and with the help of his new BFF Cupid.
Turno Turno and Floppy Joe are making sure they keep their forever family safe from the weather. These two are so happy and we are happy for them.
Tinsel (bonded with sister Trinket) We drove cross country in Feb 2020. They were perfect travelers. They've been well loved since adopting them in May 2014.
Tessa & Tilly (special needs bonded siblings) We just wanted to say that they are the world's sweetest and most loving cats you could possibly have. They are always making us laugh and surprise us with their many talents. We just love them so much! Just wanted to send a note to say thanks and that we are so happy we found them. They follow us around the house all day and love to cuddle. They are just fine on their own as well! Tilly's life revolves around food but Tessa would rather sit and snuggle a few min longer. Tessa has her daily morning spots where the sun hits and she loves to sunbathe. Tilly loves to hunt the flies down that get into the house and surprisingly catches them from time to time. She actually caught and ate one recently. They both love each other tremendously and are so funny to watch when they wrestle with each other. Tilly is the little acrobat and will find the most random spots to snuggle into- Tessa prefers the couch or bed. They are just the best!!! Just wanted to send a little update for you.
