QUIET YOUNG BEAUTY HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MOST LOVING KITTIES WE HAVE - SHE OFFERS YOU WHOLE-HEARTED LOYALTY, CHARMING MANNERS AND SWEET DISPOSITION Hello friends, my name is Metro Girl. Now exactly how did I get this name, you wonder? I was found in a cat carrier someone left at a Metro station. Kind people brought me to King Street Cats where I've been loved and cared for by one the KSC's most experienced foster families. My foster mom is so proud of me and knows I'm ready for my own forever home. We believe I was born in Spring 2013 so I'll turn three (3) years old later this year (2016). This is a very nice age at which to adopt your forever friend because my personality has settled and I'm young with my life ahead of me yet not rambunctious like a kitten would be. When I say "forever friend" and "life ahead" I mean those things very seriously - while I may be shy initially when we meet, once I know and trust you I am yours forevermore! I am the definition of "devotion" and I would love nothing more than my own purrsonal human(s) who'll take me home to a quiet environment, patiently allow us time to get acquainted, and then enjoy my low-key, loyal companionship. That personality I was referring to above when I mentioned that three years old is a nice age at which to adopt - mine is described by my KSC friends as "completely sweet." I'm a quiet girl as I said - I like to enjoy sunny spots, keep an eye on my humans and soak up your gentle affection. I like cubby holes and cat trees with hiding spots at the base - I'm demonstrating what I mean in my photo. My photo gives you a glimpse but not the full perspective on how lovely I am. I'm a soft, short-haired girl with silver and cinnamon fur shot through with even subtler silver tabby markings. I have almond-shaped bright gold eyes highlighted by pretty cream-colored fur, a perfect little salmon-colored nose and a snowy white chin. Here's some of what my King Street Cats friends are saying about me:
I didn't have the best start in life - imagine me alone, outside in my carrier at a bustling Metro station - but my wonderful foster family has shown me what love is all about, and now I love people right back. I can't wait to devote myself to my very own forever family. Please come to meet me - it's easy: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Metro Girl. Thank you so much.
Gently yours,
