Complete An Adoption Application

My name is Lakshmi and I am a beautiful Torti-Tiger girl. I arrived here on 3-6-11 after being found as a stray. I did not have a lot of contact with people before coming here, so when I first arrived I hid in a cage and kept to myself. There are not many places like King Street Cats that would take a kitty like me and give me time to acclimate. The volunteers have been very patient with me and I slowly started to come around and interact with the volunteers. So I am very happy to be here. I like hanging out with the other cats, too. While I may not be the type of cat who will run and greet you at the door (at least not right now), I am a gentle and sweet little girl. I love being petted on my head gently and I will bow my head to let you do it. And if you bring out kitty treats, I will come to you and sit at your feet. If you are a patient person and can give me a home where you will nurture me and let me thrive, and maybe have a pet for me to hang out with, I would really like that.
