LOVE BUG LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT LAP OF HIS OWN

Hi friends!  My name is Frederick!  I was found with outside with my mommy, Temple, brother, Cambridge, and sisters, Maryland and Annapolis, when I was only three weeks old.  Our mommy, Temple, was trying to keep us safe in an outdoor air conditioning unit in Temple Hill, MD.  That is why we are all named after locations in Maryland - to honor where we were found.  Once we came to King Street Cats, we were immediately taken home by our fabulous foster mommy and daddy where we got to get lots of love and attention.  Now we are all grown up and ready to find forever homes of our own.

I have beautiful silky black hair and love to be petted and brushed. I could live all day in your lap or in your arms if you let me.  I love to be picked up and will often stand on my hind legs and reach up for my foster parents to hold me like a baby.  I also greet my foster parents at the door and love to wind in and out of their legs giving them love rubs as much as I can.  My best friend, Cambridge, also loves to be held and sit on laps so sometimes my foster mommy or daddy has to hold us both at the same time, which we don't mind because we love each other so much.

We also love to play!  Some of our favorite toys are twist ties, spring toys, puff balls, laser lights and catnip!  We also love to play with other animal friends.  Our foster family has other cats and we try to play and snuggle with them at all.  Not all of them like the attention, but it is OK - we still love them. When we are not playing, we are constantly trying to get attention from our human friends.  We love to be near our humans and often act like little puppies following them around and sleeping on them whenever they let us.

I would like to go home with my best friend, Cambridge.  We are very bonded and I love him very much. There are many benefits for both humans and felines when adopting two compatible cats together. This is especially true when adopting two young kittens like us.

Same-species companionship greatly enhances our quality of life. We provide each other with stimulating play. We moderate each other's behavior. We burn off our energy together - this is very important for indoor housecats. We provide each other with grooming services free of charge. We sleep, cuddle and snuggle together.

We comfort each other and keep each other engaged when you are off doing the things that keep you away from us. In return, you get twice the love, affection and happiness. You have peace of mind knowing that when you have the leave us, we'll be fine together until you return.

We both love to have our bellies rubbed and will often flop over just for some belly rubs.  We then purr and purr and purr to thank you.  :) We would also both do great in a household with kids.  We are still in our foster home, so if you are interested in meeting us, please send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Cambridge, and my best friend, Frederick. Our foster parents say that it the luckiest family in the world will get to adopt us. We cannot wait to meet you!

Sincerely ,
Frederick (with my best friend Cambridge)
