LONG HAIRED LOVE BUG LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT LAP OF HIS OWN

Hi friends!  My name is Cambridge!  I was found with outside with my mommy, Temple, brother, Frederick, and sisters, Maryland and Annapolis, when I was only three weeks old.  Our mommy, Temple, was trying to keep us safe in an outdoor air conditioning unit in Temple Hill, MD.  That is why we are all named after locations in Maryland - to honor where we were found.  Once we came to King Street Cats, we were immediately taken home by our fabulous foster mommy and daddy where we got to get lots of love and attention.  Now we are all grown up and ready to find forever homes of our own.

I am the only one of my siblings with long beautiful hair and my foster mommy thinks I may have a bit of "rag-doll" in my blood line as I love to be held and will basically become limp when you hold me.  My brother and best friend in the world, Frederick, has beautiful short shiny black hair, but he does the same thing.  We both love to be held or be in your laps and will often talk to you and follow you around for attention.

We also love to play!  Some of our favorite toys are twist ties, spring toys, puff balls, laser lights and catnip!  When we are not playing, we are constantly trying to get attention from our human friends.  We love to be near our humans and often act like little puppies following them around and sleeping on them whenever they let us.

I would like to go home with my best friend, Frederick.  There are many benefits for both humans and felines when adopting two compatible cats together. This is especially true when adopting two young kittens like us.

Same-species companionship greatly enhances our quality of life. We provide each other with stimulating play. We moderate each other's behavior. We burn off our energy together - this is very important for indoor housecats. We provide each other with grooming services free of charge. We sleep, cuddle and snuggle together.

We comfort each other and keep each other engaged when you are off doing the things that keep you away from us. In return, you get twice the love, affection and happiness. You have peace of mind knowing that when you have the leave us, we'll be fine together until you return.

We both love to have our bellies rubbed and will often flop over just for some belly rubs.  We would also both do great with other household animals or kids.  We haven't met a dog yet, but our foster family thinks we would do great with a friendly dog too. :) Don't you want to come meet us? If you do, please send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Cambridge, and my best friend, Frederick. We would make a great addition to any family home and cannot wait to meet you!

Sincerely ,
Cambridge (with my best buddy Frederick)
