GORGEOUS GOLDEN YOUNG GIRL WITH BOBTAIL SEEKS SOFT-SPOKEN PURRSON (and kitty friends) FOR HAPPINESS AND FRIENDSHIP

Hello friends! My name is Darla. I am a gorgeous little girl getting ready to celebrate my first birthday. I would love nothing more than to mark this milestone by going home with my very own purrson to be loved and cherished!

I found myself in a public shelter for unknown reasons when I was just a little kitten. King Street Cats came and recognized what potential I have. They welcomed me into their family and assured me that my future is very bright.

I am a beautiful golden girl with soft, silky medium length fur. If you have never seen a medium length cat, you are in for a wonderful surprise – we're beautiful! I have snowy white fur and with buff coloring, almond-shaped eyes in a matching gold, and a distinctive, elegant face. I have the cutest little bobtail! Wait until you see it.

You will love petting me gently because I am so warm and soft. I must emphasize that I need to be petted very gently. I don't like to be picked up and I'm not that comfortable with human touch. I do, however, loooove the company of other kitties and would love to make a kitty friend. Having a kitty friend and being able to watch my friend interact confidently with my new purrson will help me build my own confidence with you.

I have two siblings, Dustin and Diamond. Dustin is a bobtail like me! You should see us together. You can't help but smile. Would you please consider adopting me with either of my siblings - or both? You can read about them on the King Street Cats web page too.

There are distinct advantages to both cats and humans when two companionable cats live together – this is particularly true for young kitties like me. Same-species companionship is important for compatible cats and especially so for kittens. We provide each other the opportunity to burn energy (very important for indoor housecats, as we will be) through play and exercise. We groom each other.

We moderate each other's behavior as we learn. Here's a hypothetical example - if my best friend nips me, one swat with my little paw will send the message that this is not OK - then my friend will think twice before nipping me again! We snuggle and cuddle and sleep together. We entertain and provide each other with a sense of security when you cannot be with us. You, in turn, don't have to worry about leaving a cat alone when you have to go out, and you will enjoy twice the happiness and companionship.

If you are a gentle, soft-spoken and patient cat lover looking for new best friends and grateful companions, please come to meet me and my friends.

It’s easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Darla. I promise to love you wholeheartedly.

Thank you.

Gorgeously yours,
Darla
