SWEET TUXEDO GIRL LOOKING FOR A HOME OF HER OWN

Hi my name is Dopey. But don't let my name fool you, I am a smart sweet girl.  I was rescued, along with my 6 siblings, from a feral colony in Front Royal, VA when I was about 6 weeks old.  Since there were 7 of us we were named after Snow Whites friends the 7 dwarfs. I was raised in a foster home with one of my brothers and 2 sisters.  My other 3 siblings were raised in another wonderful foster home. 

I am a beautiful short hair, black and white tuxedo girl. I am the smallest of the group so sometimes get pushed out of the way when it comes time for attention. So I sit next to my foster mom and gently tap her on her arm or her face to let her know not to forget about petting me too!  I love attention, getting my cheeks scratched and occasional belly rubs. I sometimes like to be held on my back like a baby. I love to play with toys and run around the room. I especially like the toy mice.  I toss them up in the air and try to catch them, sometimes I am successful. I am a bit shy when first meeting new people, as we have not met many, but I warm up quickly.

I would like to go home with my sister, Happy. There are many benefits for both humans and felines when adopting two compatible cats together. This is especially true when adopting two young kittens like us.

Same-species companionship greatly enhances our quality of life. We provide each other with stimulating play. We moderate each other's behavior. We burn off our energy together - this is very important for indoor housecats. We provide each other with grooming services free of charge. We sleep, cuddle and snuggle together.

We comfort each other and keep each other engaged when you are off doing the things that keep you away from us. In return, you get twice the love, affection and happiness. You have peace of mind knowing that when you have the leave us, we'll be fine together until you return.
