YOUNG CHOCOLATE TORTIE IS A SWEETHEART

Hello friends! My name is Annabelle. I was found wandering around in the great outdoors all by myself with no identification and no idea how I found myself in such dire circumstances. Luckily, a kind samaritan found me and introduced me to King Street Cats. Now that I'm part of the KSC family, I'm showing my new volunteer friends my soft side and waiting for the one thing every tortie girl dreams of - a human to call her very own.

I'm two (2) years old, which is very nice age at which to adopt a new best friend. I'm young and playful, yet I'm over the "kitten chaos" phase in life. I am a very beautiful and exotic looking chocolate tortoiseshell girl - a chocolate tortie is one with no white markings in her fur. My fur is short and silky and consists solely of very deep dark chocolate (which may look like black depending on the light) and caramel tones. I have big bright green eyes for you to gaze into.

My purrsonality is that of a sweetheart. I like my humans and I know that I want to have one of my own. I'll be a loyal friend, always interested in your activity, yet never in your face. I possess a bit of "tortitude," which means that I can be an independent girl who at times likes her peace and quiet, just as I know you do too. 

I envision myself being your "one and only" best friend so that we can bond together. I may be open to other feline friends in the future; I'm not quite sure about that yet. I'm still making up my mind here in the KSC cat room. You can ask any of my volunteer friends for my latest opinion on the topic.

I like watching my humans, getting gentle head rubs and chin scratches, smelling new smells, surveying the landscape from a nice kitty perch, and keeping myself well groomed and lovely. I like toys and games, but I promise not to exhaust you. I'm not a high maintenance kind of girl as long as I know where you are and where to find you when it's time for some togetherness.

If you are looking for a best friend in the form of a legendarily gorgeous young tortie girl, please come to meet me! I know what it's like to be lost and alone and I never want to go back there again. Thanks to KSC I won't ever have to - and (perhaps?) thanks to you I will know the love and comfort of my own forever home.
