Hello friends, my name is Malfoy. I'm a four (4) year old plush, soft boy with beautiful jet black fur and a teeny tiny white bow tie - and I am very camera-shy at the moment!

I'm so happy and relieved to be here at King Street Cats. I was rescued from a hoarding situation along with KSC's Miss Longbottom. She's a wonderful girl - - promise me you will visit her page on this site next - - who was very shy and frightened when she arrived at KSC but has blossomed with the love and support of our volunteers. I want to be just like her!

I see all the cats here interacting and enjoying the attention of our volunteers and that's what I'm working my way towards. I've got my paws crossed that a special someone will want to open their hearts to me and help me blossom into my best little self.

I'm quite shy at the moment. I came out of a very chaotic environment and I'm still trying to make sense of everything. I love it when a calm and understanding volunteer talks to me gently (in a nice low voice) and encourages me with praise and soft petting. My dream is to go home to a quiet place with a patient purrson or family who will understand how to make me feel safe, gradually expose me to larger spaces and reward my progress with affection. I would be most grateful to the human who realizes that if I become overwhelmed I might want to retreat to a safe cubby, kitty bed or quiet sun spot in order to regroup, and that this is no reflection on you as my human or my feelings for you.
