Hello friends, my name is Mary Lou. I was found on the roof of a building when I was just a small kitten - as young as a kitten can beand still become pregnant. I was taken to a shelter where I gave birth to two stillborn babies.

From there my fortunes improved greatly - I was taken into the King Street Cats family and nurtured by a loving and experienced foster family. I'm now ready to find my own home where I want to continue to experience the joys of kittenhood myself and bring you my gentle brand of love and affection.

I was born in December 2015 so I am just now celebrating my six month birthday; I really am still a kitten! I am one adorable little bundle of jet black and snowy white with big round bright green eyes. You'll fall in love with the looks of me! I'm a happy little girl who learned to trust and love people in my foster home and I continue to improve these skills each day here at KSC.

My foster mom describes me as very friendly. I really enjoyed playing with her resident cats (I felt very safe with my foster family!) and I am learning to play with all the feline friends here at KSC. I always wanted to be near my foster parents and enjoyed spending time with them and just knowing that they were nearby.

I'd like to spend a lot of time with you so I can soak up all the affection you have to give. I will reflect it right back to you. If you have nice kitties at home who would not feel threatened by my presence and who would enjoy playing with me, that would be very nice. If you don't, maybe you could ask my KSC friends to recommend another deserving kitty here whom you could adopt with me. There are benefits to both humans and felines when you adopt two kittens together. 

I've been a calm and quiet vehicle passenger when I've accompanied KSC volunteers to mobile adoption events in the community. Everyone who meets me remarks on how pretty I am. I react well to curious children who meet me at these events. A big dog once rushed up to me, and while I was startled, I swatted him on the nose and went back to being my calm little self. I saw little birdies in playing in the bushes at one community adoption event and I was completely fascinated!
