Hello friends! My name is Tokyo. I'm a soft and quiet boy who's very grateful to have been welcomed into the King Street Cats family from the shelter where I inexplicably found myself. I'm applying for the job of "best friend and loyal companion" because I heard that you have an opening. I'm available to start immediately and I hope you'll want to interview me after you review my impressive qualifications.

For starters, I have a quiet, calm purrsonality. I want to bring you a sense of peace and relaxation; I won't stress you out. You probably have enough stress in your life, right? 

I'm not sure how I came to find myself in a shelter, but my new friends here at KSC recognized in me the qualities of a true companion who's deserving of a loving forever home, and their recommendation means a lot given how much experience they have with cats.

Next, I'd like you to consider my determination. I've been sad lately - wouldn't you be after losing for long-term home for reasons that you can't understand? Nonetheless, I am making progress everyday here at KSC thanks to the attention and support I get from the caring volunteers. They tell me that I deserve my own home and my very own purrson and I believe them! My age should not deter you - it's just a number to me, and it is *not* "old."

Let's talk about my sense of devotion and loyalty. I am an "only cat" kind of guy. I would love to go home as your "one and only" so that you and I can bond to each other without the interference of other cats. My quiet style and mellow personality make me natural companion for the thoughtful, tender-hearted person.

Style: I have it. I have silky soft fur that appears jet black but reveals stripes of deep chocolate when the light shines on me in a certain way. I have almond-shaped eyes that transform from green to gold depending on the lighting conditions. I'm wearing a tiny white bowtie to show you what a gentleman I am!
